It is getting more and more difficult to avoid the digital world these days. It is used for booking NHS appointments and getting your groceries delivered.
Thurrock Libraries are running regular free sessions to help residents in sheltered accommodation get to grips with the online and digital world.
The informal sessions at Crown Court, Newton Road, Tilbury RM18 8YL are aimed at all Thurrock residents who feel daunted or unsure about going online. Please note you do not need to live in sheltered housing to participate.
Our friendly facilitator Summer helps people unlock the useful aspects of going digital, from booking health appointments, to accessing council services.

Meet the captain of the T.S. Exmouth & train for a life at sea!
Navigate your way around the musuem and learn essential skills such as tying knots, signalling and learning a sea shanty!
If you're successful at the end of the 30 minutes you will receive your special prize from the Captain!
Tickets cost £3.50 per child (parents go free) through Grays Library.
There are 5x 30 minute sessions available from 10am to 3pm
Advanced payment is required (spaces can be reserved over the phone but payment will need to be made before the session).
Please note the event runs in Thameside Museum on the 1st floor of the Thameside Complex.
