Carnegie Shadowing Day 

Thurrock Libraries works with secondary school students to shadow The Carnegies which are the UK’s longest running children’s book awards. In June students from across Thurrock secondary schools come together to debate the books from the shortlist and then vote for their favourites. The Thurrock vote  is then compared to the national one which is broadcast online.
