There are female and male public toilets on the ground floor of the library. There is a RADAR disabled toilet on the ground floor. There are further toilets on the second floor of the Thameside Complex.
There is a large public car park at the rear of building in Cromwell Road (pay and display).
There is disabled access to the library via the main entrance on Orsett Road.

History
Grays library was first opened in 1903 in a building built with money from the Carnegie Foundation. The current Thameside building was officially opened in January 1972 which houses the Central Library, Thurrock Museum and the Thameside Theatre. The Thameside Complex was refurbished in 2005.
